Celta Vigo have confirmed that they have picked up Barcelona’s Rafael Alcantara, Rafinha, on a season long loan deal.
Luis Enrique’s new team were reported last week by the player himself as having negotiated, as widely expected, a temporary deal for 2013-14.
In a statement released on Monday, the Galicians have made official the news through their official website and will present the 20-year-old at Balaidos this evening at 5pm local time.
The younger brother of Thiago Alcantara, who is also set for an exit from the Camp Nou this week, Rafinha is the third of Celta’s signings this summer, after Andreu Fontas and Nolito to have previously worked with newly-appointed Coach Enrique from his time at Barcelona B.
