Djukic to clarify at season’s end

Real Valladolid Coach Miroslav Djukic has told reporters that he will announce his intentions over his future after the last game of the season.

The former centre-back has been linked with a move to Valencia this summer, should Los Che lose Ernesto Valverde, whilst reports this week suggest that Benfica are also taking note.

Whilst Valladolid have indicated publicly a willingness to sign Djukic to an improved three-to-four-year contract, the 47-year-old has yet to affirm his intentions.

“I will announce my future after the match in Mallorca,” Djukic told reporters on Wednesday evening, when asked once more.

The Serb, who has taken Valladolid to promotion to the Primera Division and then safety in the top flight during his first two years at the club, is still signed to the Castilians for one more season.
