Miroslav Djukic has conceded that Real Valladolid's win over Deportivo on Saturday was 'like a final'.
Javi Guerra gave the Pucela the three points that took them 11 points clear of relegation, and mathematically safe for next season.
And the Serbian Coach has admitted that the pressure before the game was enormous.
“You could cut the tension with a knife,” he told a Press conference. “It was a final – and finals are either won or lost.
“It was difficult to play in that sort of atmosphere.
“But we were able to play our football. It was important that we won, and the boys gave everything they could.
“I have to congratulate my team for another great season.
“This is just reward for this team.”
