Djukic satisfied even in defeat

Miroslav Djukic was satisfied with his Real Valladolid side, despite losing 4-3 to Real Madrid on Saturday.

The Pucela went 1-0 up at Santiago Bernabeu, but went down to two Cristiano Ronaldo goals and a Kaka strike.

But the Serbian Coach was pleased with his team's performance, even in defeat.

“We conceded two sloppy goals from set pieces, and I'm obviously not happy about that,” he told a Press conference.

“But I can only congratulate my team for the work they put in.

“We did well and it's never easy to come here and play good football.

“We did a great game against a great opponent.”
