Valladolid run-in concerns Djukic

Miroslav Djukic has put pressure on Real Valladolid to guarantee their League status soon, in light of a difficult season run-in.

On from welcoming Sevilla to the Jose Zorilla this Sunday, Valladolid face trips to Real Madrid and Barcelona interspersed with games against relegation candidates in Deportivo, Celta Vigo and Mallorca.

“We want to secure survival as soon as possible because we now face a difficult run of games and to play those without pressure would be best,” conceded Djukic to reporters this week.

“Sevilla need a win to keep track of the European places. In my view they are a great team, fast and aggressive.

“So we have to make things difficult, we are prepared. These include things that we have always fixed on, such as defensive strength and aggression, issue that should not change.

“We need to become more effective in attack, shoot more at goal and finish off our moves. That is what we need, to be more direct and more concrete little by little.”
