Philippe Montanier has written off suggestions that his Real Sociedad side are playing Malaga at just the right time.
The Andalusian team played Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday, but the French Coach has insisted that playing in midweek will not affect Manuel Pellegrini's men.
“After playing against Zenit, they then played Valencia and won 4-0,” he told a Press conference.
“And then, after another Champions League match they beat Granada. We cannot think they are going to be a weak opponent.
“We need to be at a high level, and remember that Malaga are challenging to be one of the four best teams in Europe.
“We have made a habit of playing well at Anoeta, but it is still going to be a challenge.”
