Espanyol boss Javier Aguirre has refused to comment on whether he will still be at the club next season.
The Mexican Coach sees his deal at the Periquitos come to an end in June, but the 54-year-old has insisted that he is only focused on the football – starting on Sunday against Real Sociedad.
“I do not look beyond June 30,” he told a Press conference. “I don't want any distractions.
“[Real Sociedad] will be a difficult game. They have some great players and are solid at the back.
“They have just one defeat in 17 games – we have to respect that.
“38 points will not be enough for us to stay up, so we have to be at our best from now on.”
