Gonzalo Higuain has insisted that his Real Madrid side are trying to keep up the pressure on Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
Los Blancos are 10 points behind the Blaugrana after they defeated Mallorca 5-2 on Saturday at Santiago Bernabeu.
But the Argentine striker, who scored two of the goals yesterday, has claimed that his team will fight until the end, whilst also commenting on the match against the Islanders.
“The idea is to pressure Barcelona,” he told Canal +. “There is still a lot left of the League. We intend to take the fight right to the end.
“I am very happy. Mallorca played well and went ahead twice. But after the break we knew we had to make the best of it, and we did.”
