Philippe Montanier is reportedly keen to renew his contract with Real Sociedad, but with some conditions in place.
The Frenchman is coming to the end of his two-year contract at Anoeta and has turned around a patchy start to the current campaign to have the Basque side level on points with Malaga in the fourth and final Champions League qualification place in La Liga.
Following on from reports last month that the club were happy with his turnaround to hand him an extension, the Frenchman is this week seen as open to negotiations, but with some conditions in place.
Specifically, these are understood to include elements such as more control over management affairs at the club and that certain players brought in during the summer transfer window.
Montanier has been linked with Marseille and Monaco back in his homeland in recent weeks, whilst it is understood that La Real will wait until the end of the season to start their renewal talks with the Coach.
