‘Valladolid match the most important’

Espanyol boss Javier Aguirre believes that tomorrow's match against Real Valladolid is 'the most important' of his tenure.

The Periquitos have shot up the table since the Mexican Coach took over last year, but he has claimed that Sunday's match with Pucela is a must-win of they are to cement their place in La Liga come May.

“The match with Valladolid is one of the most important games of the season,” he told a Press conference.

“It is a huge opportunity to bounce back after a loss last weekend, and get three points against a direct rival.

“Our objective is to reach 42 points – but we have to think only of the next game.”
