Real Sociedad boss Philippe Montanier has praised his players after they defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-1 on Friday evening.
The Erreala came from behind to beat their Basque rivals at San Mames last night, and the French Coach has claimed that his team showed a 'cool head' after going 1-0 down.
“We knew that the start of the match was going to be difficult because Athletic normally start well,” he told a Press conference.
“Once they scored, we dug in and showed a cool head. We fought right until the end and were confident enough to believe in our style of play.
“We remained calm, and the players have to be respected for that.”
