Gregorio Manzano was the subject of small protests to leave Mallorca, at only his first training session since returning.
The 56-year-old was brought back for a third stint at the club to replace the departed Joaquin Caparros, but has an unsteady relationship with the club’s supporters, having criticised them in the past.
A handful of fans made clear that all is not forgotten, by turning up for Manzano’s first training session with the players to berate the tactician.
Chants of ‘Manzano, go now!’ were heard, whilst the banner ‘with guts or drop to La Segunda’ was also displayed. Players were also targeted with insults.
Mallorca currently sit 19th in La Liga, after a run of just six points collected from the last 51 available.
