Emery warns of Granada threat

Unai Emery has warned his Sevilla side against complacency when they face Granada on Monday evening.

The Rojiblancos host Juan Antonio Anquela's side at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan tomorrow, and the 41-year-old Coach has claimed that although El Grana are 17th in the table, they will still pose a considerable threat.

“We cannot allow ourselves to drop points at home,” he told a Press conference. “But Granada will certainly make it difficult for us.

“They are a team that play with intensity, speed on the counter-attack and always press the ball.

“We have to go into every game with the mentality that this is our last – even more so in our own stadium.”

He also commented on the departure of goalkeeper Diego Lopez, who re-joined Real Madrid on Friday evening.

“It was unexpected, that's for sure. We are looking at our options though, so we'll just have to see what happens.”
