Caparros takes responsibility for form

Mallorca boss Joaquin Caparros has insisted that he is fully responsible for his side's poor form this season.

The Bermellones languish in 19th place in the table, having won just four out of their 20 League games so far.

But the 57-year-old Coach has admitted that he cannot fault the players' efforts, and hopes that endeavour can pay dividends this Sunday against Malaga.

“The role of the Coach is very important,” he told a Press conference. “And I take full responsibility for what's happened.

“I want everyone to look at me when they see where we are.

“The team is working hard, but we just haven't been rewarded with wins yet this season. And that annoys me.

“I am hurt that the effort of the players is not being turned into positive results.

“Malaga have a good squad and some real quality players,” he added. “They are a strong team that we have to try and counter.”
