Sergio Busquets believes that Barcelona deserved to go through to the Copa del Rey semi-finals and that they should have scored more against Malaga.
The Catalans played out a 6-4 aggregate win over the Anchovies to progress to the next stage of the competition, but Busquets felt the difference could have been greater.
“The result is fair, in fact we should have won by more,” reflected the midfielder to reporters after Thursday’s 4-2 win at La Rosaleda.
“In the first half of the away leg in Barcelona, and today throughout the 90 minutes we could have scored more goals.
“Am I injured? I finished the game without any problems and I’ll be ready to go on Sunday.”
Barca now face Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the competition.
“We want to win every competition we play in. We have to play against Real Madrid in the semi-finals, and we hope to get a good result in the away leg [in Madrid] and later, here, with our fans cheering us on, we hope to get to the final.”
