JIM on poor form & January signings

Levante boss Juan Ignacio Martinez has asked his players to pull together to drag themselves out of their current dip in form.

The Granotes have lost their last three games, but the 48-year-old Coach has admitted they will look to end that run this weekend against Real Valladolid, and also commented on the need for reinforcements this month.

“We have to take bolder steps to achieve our goals,” he told a Press conference. “The group is clear about the situation we found ourselves in.

“And they know what we have to do to stop the defeats.

“Real Valladolid have very determined players and we know that they will pose a difficult proposition, but we will try.

“There is pressing need for some more top players,” he added. “We can improve in most positions and we will see if we can incorporate some more players.

“Our priority is a striker, and then we'll see what else we can find out there.”
