Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has claimed that he does not regret turning down a move to Barcelona.
The Italy international had the chance to join the Blaugrana in 2001 whilst he was still at former club Parma.
But the influential shot-stopper opted instead on a £33m move to the Turin side, a decision he does not regret.
“I do ask myself what my career would have been like now and again,” he told a Press conference.
“But Barcelona only started winning in 2006. Five years without winning anything is a long time.
“Seeing how my career has developed, I have no regrets.”
Buffon has recently signed a new contract at the Serie A club until 2015.
