Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he consulted Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho before his move to Galatasaray.
The 28-year-old move from Inter to the Turkish club on Sunday evening, and has admitted that his one-time boss at San Siro advised him to join the Istanbul-based side.
“I am happy to be here,” he told reporters from the Turkish Press.
“Before choosing this team I spoke with [Louis] Van Gaal and Mourinho, and they advised me to accept the offer.”
