Radamel Falcao has denied that he and his agent Jorge Mendes met with Florentino Perez over a proposed move to Real Madrid.
It was alleged in an article published in Spain last week that the Colombian had met with the Madrid President at a restaurant to discuss a possible transfer from rivals Atletico Madrid.
“Everything is a lie. Lately there has been all kinds of reports about me,” reflected the 26-year-old on Antena 3 this week.
“All those that say I ate with Florentino are false. Neither is it true that I travelled with Cristiano Ronaldo to the Ballon d’Or gala.”
The striker gave little away in considering a future destination, including every language native to the Leagues he has been linked with, when discussing his linguistic ambitions.
“My goal is to learn more languages. I know a little Portuguese, English is important for life and so I speak that better. Then I would like to learn French or Italian.”
