Milan: Kaka deal off

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has declared that negotiations to sign Ricky Kaka from Real Madrid are once again off.

The two clubs had twice in the summer entered into talks to transfer the Brazilian back to the Italians, before breaking down.

Those failures were put down to financial aspects of the move, including Madrid’s desire for a permanent transfer clashing with the Rossoneri’s idea of a loan.

And, in entering negotiations once more this January, it seems that the same aspects have hit any chances of a move.

“The negotiation for Kaka has broken down. It is not possible to complete the deal because of fiscal reasons,” Galliani told reporters yesterday evening.

“The deal broke down [yesterday evening]. But we had agreed on everything else.”

Milan were reportedly pushing for a two-and-a-half-year loan deal and were understood earlier yesterday to have agreed terms with Kaka to accept a €6m wage – €4m less than his current salary.
