Albiol on Mou, Ronaldo & rotation

Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol has claimed that a reported falling out between Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo is nothing.

Stories last week in the Spanish Press reported that the Portuguese Coach and the goalscorer had a slanging match after the 2-0 win over Valencia.

But the Spain international has insisted that 'what happens in the locker room stays in the locker room'.

“It will not affect the group at all,” he told a Press conference. “All that happened was the player and the Coach has a difference in opinion.

“They are both winners and exchanged views – nothing more. It will not affect the team or the relationship between us.

“What happens in the locker room stays in the locker room.”

He then commented on the recent dropping of Iker Casillas and praised the performances of replacement Adan.

“It's not my decision. For years Iker has been the best goalkeeper in the world, but Adan has also shown he is a great, professional goalkeeper.

“Whoever plays in goal, I do not lose sleep.”

The 27-year-old concluded by remarking on Los Blancos' League match against his former club this weekend.

“We all know the level that Valencia can play at,” he said. “They are a good team and will be a difficult test.

“But we want to show that we can improve and try to reach the level we got to last year.”
