Mallorca Coach Joaquin Caparros has claimed that his side deserved to beat Real Valladolid, despite losing 3-1 at Nuevo Jose Zorilla.

Two goals from Patrick Ebert and one from Oscar Gonzalaez were enough to give the Pucela three points.

But the 57-year-old tactician thought his men were worthy of a win.

“It's a shame. We started the game well and even had chances to go ahead,” he told a Press conference.

“We leave here annoyed because I think my players did merit something from the game.

“We are an improving team, but that has to be translated into points.”
