Mourinho jealous of Arsenal stability

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is envious of Arsene Wenger's longevity at Arsenal.

The Portuguese Coach has claimed that he would like to stay in one job for a long time, but has conceded that he could not stomach going years without a trophy as the Frenchman has done at the north London club.

“Yes, I'd love to have that sort of stability at a club,” he told The Sun. “But at the same time, I think for my mentality I need pressure to succeed.

“And if no one imposes that pressure on me then I would impose that pressure on myself – the pressure to win things.

“Yes it's possible to be building for one or two seasons and not being at a level to win things.

“But no longer than that, because my mentality is always I always need to win things.”

He then commented on their next Champions League opponents Manchester United.

“They are top and when they are up there it is never easy to knock them out of first place.”
