The first leg of Eibar’s Last 16 Copa del Rey clash with Malaga will be played next Tuesday night at 8pm.
The Segunda Division B outfit progressed to this round of the competition last night, thanks to a 1-1 result at Athletic Bilbao that knocked the Primera Division team out on away goals.
That second leg Round of 32 match was played last night after being moved by the authorities from its original late November slot.
The rearrangement was made in order to allow Athletic to play their rescheduled Europa League match away to Hapoel Kiryat Shmona then instead, with that original fixture delayed a week due to safety concerns in Israel.
In order to now catch up with the rest of the first leg matches played during this week in the Last 16, Eibar will host Malaga next Tuesday evening at 8pm local time.
The second leg will then be held in the same second week of January as the rest of the round’s second leg matches.
