‘Difficult to spend years at the same club’

Jose Mourinho has remained coy on his future with rumours circulating again that he is set to leave Real Madrid in the summer.

The Portuguese Coach has been linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu, but has refused to comment on whether this season will be his last at the club.

“I've learned that football is not an easy world,” he told RTC. “Especially for Coaches.

“It is very difficult to spend many years at the same club.

“I am Portuguese so I am a natural explorer, a discoverer. I've been in many different countries, different cultures and different Leagues.

“Spain, England, Italy….I do not know if my future will be another adventure. What I do know is that I will continue working, whatever happens.”

He also commented on the relationship he has with his players and his methods.

“I always try to maintain a good relationship with them,” he said. “But there are 22, 23 0r 25 in a squad and you can only ever play 11.

“I make every effort to be honest, to respect everyone in the same way – I want to create a good working group from the first name on the teamsheet to the third goalkeeper.”
