Adrian Colunga is reportedly a transfer target of Deportivo this January, as he is expected to once more leave Getafe on loan.

The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season out on loan with Sporting Gijon and, in struggling for first-team activity and goals at Getafe once again this term, is expected to make a similar short-term transfer this winter.

Depor, who have slipped into the relegation zone in recent weeks, have more than once made clear that they intend to reinforce their squad during the January transfer market.

However, due to their financial situation, with the tax office having seized a majority of their assets, the Galicians are expected even more so than before to push for low-cost moves.

Colunga is thought available on a cheap loan for the rest of the season and has reportedly also attracted Real Valladolid for that same reason, but presents an obstacle to both them and Deportivo in the form of his €1.2m salary.
