Michael Essien is recovering to full fitness for Real Madrid, having returned to Chelsea to overcome his latest issue.
The Ghanaian midfielder is with Madrid for a season long loan from the Stamford Bridge outfit, but with permission from former Blues boss Jose Mourinho, is back with the London club at the moment.
Essien is currently out of action and trying to recover from a recent allergic reaction to some medication and has sought the advice of his parent club in handling the matter.
Reports suggest that the 29-year-old could miss the remainder of the calendar year with his ailment, and would only return to Mourinho’s plans after the winter break.
