Real Sociedad Coach Philippe Montanier is convinced his side can pull off a dramatic comeback against Cordoba in the Copa del Rey.
Montanier’s side go into the second leg of their last 32 tie at Anoeta tomorrow trailing their Segunda Division opponents 2-0.
“It would be a failure to go out at this stage, we all want to play in this competition and will make every effort to progress,” stated the Frenchman in a media engagement.
“We want to score the first goal as soon as possible, but we also have to have patience throughout the 90 minutes. It’s a difficult competition, Cordoba have a lead and great motivation to qualify.
“Scoring three goals is not easy, but it’s possible and we’re looking forward to it.”
