Real Madrid defensive duo Raul Albiol and Ricardo Carvalho could be on their way to Milan, according to reports in the Spanish Press.

The Rossoneri's Vice-President Adriano Galliani was at Santiago Bernabeu last night, AS are reporting, trying to negotiate deals for the centre-back pairing.

Jose Mourinho has already confirmed that he would not stand in the way of Carvalho if he decided to leave the capital club at the end of his contract in June.

Albiol meanwhile, could be available for a fee of around €9m, having fallen behind Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Raphael Varane in Los Blancos' pecking order.

The Italian side have struggled this season, sitting in 12th place in Serie A, conceding 16 goals in a dozen games.
