Ebert scored with broken wrist!

Real Valladolid will have to do without on-form midfielder Patrick Ebert for the next two matches after he suffered a broken wrist.

It is a heavy blow for the Segunda Division play-off winners as the German winger had been in sparkling form, scoring spectacular goals in each of the last two games.

Remarkably it has transpired that Ebert sustained the injury before he scored the second of those goals, a chipped winner against Osasuna last Sunday.

The Bosman signing has fractured the carpal bone in his right hand, and will miss this weekend's game against Valencia and the following week's encounter with Getafe as a result.
