Pep to Milan? Not yet…

Pep Guardiola’s agent has refuted claims that discussions have taken place for him to take over at Milan, but not ruled it out as a future scenario.

Guardiola’s brother was spotted at San Siro watching Milan’s draw with Malaga, prompting speculation that the Italians were talking to the former Barcelona Coach, who is on a sabbatical from the game this season.

“He wasn’t there for Pep. Absolutely not, as I’m his agent – not his brother Pere…” Jose Maria Orobitg answered to TMW.

“Guardiola's brother was in Italy yesterday because Malaga were playing against Milan and he represents many of the Malaga players. He was only there to watch a football match.”

However, it does not mean that the door is closed to the Rossoneri.

“Everything is possible for next season and I've already said this before. I always speak with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani and he's always very kind.

“The relationship between us is good. Who knows what will happen in the future… The doors are open for Milan, just like they are open for Manchester City, Chelsea and so on.

“Pep will listen to offers and then he will evaluate them. But so far we haven't talked about Milan, which is also because Guardiola won't be coaching until next term. We will talk about his future again in June.

“I won't exclude anything, but when I say that everything is possible, then I'm also referring to Manchester City, Chelsea and other important clubs.”
