Levante boss Juan Ignacio Martinez said he was more than satisfied with the valuable point earned in the goalless draw at Sevilla.
However, the hosts missed a glut of chances to have sealed the game and Martinez admitted that it was a match his side could easily have lost.
“This year Sevilla play with a much higher tempo and are more physical, as they demonstrated against Madrid and Barcelona, and I know perfectly well we could have lost,” Martinez told a Press conference.
“I have to congratulate them because they play very good football and are at the top end of the table because they do that every week.
“Even so, one of the characteristics of this Levante side is our strength in defence that was so successful last season.
“Standing firm like this will give us a chance to move forward,” he added.
