Real Madrid welcome Real Zaragoza to the Bernabeu this evening and ahead of facing each other on the pitch, Zaragoza’s Postiga spoke out in support of his international colleague at Real, Ronaldo, who continues to draw ire at away grounds.
“I do not understand the insults towards Cristiano, he is a 10 as both a person and a footballer,” commented his compatriot to Grada360.com.
“Football should be a celebration and I do not understand the people that go to a game to insult or confront players. I do not like to see any player treated badly.
“I’ve known Cristiano for many years and he has always been the same. He’s great, a good teammate and a great professional. Cristiano is a great player, one of the best in the world.
“Real Madrid have many options in attack and big names too. Any of them can decide a game.”
