Helder Postiga believes that current Coach Manolo Jimenez is very similar to Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho.
Postiga enjoyed a career-best scoring rate a decade ago at Porto whilst playing under Mourinho and is now in Spain at Real Zaragoza working under Jimenez.
“The character of both is very similar, they are very strong personalities,” the Portuguese international told AS.
“And what are their differences? Everyone has their opinion when watching football, but the goal is always the same, to win.”
The two tacticians will face off against each other this evening in round 10 of the La Liga season.
“Although we know that it is a very difficult game, when the game starts the score will be 0-0, the team is very confident and we have much to gain and little to lose.
“Therefore, we must enjoy the game and believe we can get a positive result.”
The striker reflected on his current goalscoring form with the Aragonese.
“Manolo says that I score fewer goals, but that when I do score, they are great goals, but that as a forward I also need to score the ugly goals too.
“The great goals are the result of hard work, training and always applying yourself fully to training, then you can do things in the games.
“I hope to score many goals this year, as much for my sake as for Real Zaragoza’s. I will train my best to make things right and reach the highest possible figures.”
