Mourinho eyes record win 100

Victory today will see Jose Mourinho become only the fifth man in history to reach 100 wins in all competitions as Real Madrid Coach.

Los Blancos welcome Real Zaragoza to the Santiago Bernabeu and in only their 133rd official match under their Portuguese tactician, could reach the number of note in record time.

Previously the club have achieved 100 wins in all competitions under Miguel Munoz, who needed 140 games to do so, Leo Beenhakker, during 160 games, Luis Molowny, during 170 games and Vicente del Bosque, who took 186 games to reach the landmark in September 2002.

Mourinho has only reached 100 wins with one previous side, Chelsea, where he needed 182 games to do so.

Victory today will maintain Mourinho’s 75 per cent win percentage in Madrid, which is his highest as a Coach too.
