Real Zaragoza strategist Manolo Jimenez says the best way for the Blanquillos to get a result against Real Madrid is to be theirselves.
Jimenez, fresh from masterminding a win over his former employers Sevilla last weekend, and a midweek Copa del Rey victory over Granada, takes his side to the Bernabeu tomorrow evening.
“One by one we are infinitely inferior,” the former AEK Athens boss confessed. “But we have to form a block. We know that we are good, we have to have personality and be ourselves. That is the best way.
“The Bernabeu is a theatre that impresses everyone who has ever been a footballer. In addition, Real Madrid are a great team, and we are aware of the difficulty.
“We had a good game against Granada, but now we are obliged to have another.”
Zaragoza, 9th with 12 points, are the only side in La Liga yet to draw a game this season.
