Manolo Jimenez praised his Real Zaragoza players for their performance at home to Sevilla today, commenting that they forced the visitors’ hand.
Jimenez’ side ran out 2-1 winners at home to his former club, much to the Coach’s happiness at the final whistle.
“The fact that Sevilla has created virtually no chances speaks volumes about the team’s work,” enthused Jimenez at the final whistle.
“The game became harder for us towards the end, when they forced us to defend more with some direct long balls.
“Although, it is significant that a quality team like Sevilla had to resort to direct play to hurry.”
