Real Betis Coach Pepe Mel thanked the club's fans for inspiring them to a 1-0 home win against Valencia.
An early Salva Sevilla strike was enough to give the Verdiblancos a hard-fought victory, and the 49-year-old tactician praised the supporters for the three points.
“Our fans helped us a lot,” he told a Press conference. “I want to thank them and say congratulations.
“We are still discovering ourselves as a team, but we are definitely enjoying it. We played a great first half.”
He also commented on Betis' current fourth place standing, and the talk of qualifying for Europe.
“We are still in October, so we can't talk about Europe. For us, we only care about the next game.”
