Miku encouraged by Barca injuries

Striker Miku is back in Spain with Celtic, and confident his new club can cause an upset against Barcelona.

The Venezuelan, who scored 14 La Liga goals last season and is still owned by Getafe, joined the Glasgow outfit on loan last summer.

“They have injuries so that might give us a chance,” the 27-year-old, put forward for media duties as he speaks Spanish, began.

“The game will be seen around the world so that's maximum motivation. I have won, lost and drawn to Barcelona, this will be a difficult game. They are the best in the world just now.”

As expected Celtic are dominating the SPL in the absence of arch rivals Rangers and the man also known as Nicolas Fedor thinks that stands in their favour.

“If we don't win in the SPL, its terrible. So we will play this game with the same mentality.

“I have played against Lionel Messi many times and he is always thinking about the goal. It's possible to stop him though. But when you think about Barcelona its not just Messi, we have to be careful of everybody.”

Former Valencia targetman Miku has yet to score for the Hoops, and is likely to start on the bench tomorrow.
