Real Madrid defender Marcelo has returned to the Spanish capital following his surgery in Amsterdam.
The Brazilian international was operated on by specialist Dr Niek Van Dijk last week, after fracturing the fifth metatarsal of his right foot whilst on international duty.
Real announced the news on their website this afternoon, confirming that the left back will begin his recovery process tomorrow under the supervision of the club's medical team.
