Line-ups: Villa starts for Barca

Star-striker David Villa will start for Barcelona as they face Deportivo La Coruna at Estadio Riazor.

The Spain international, who broke his leg last December at the World Club Championships, will make his second start of the season, and starts up front alongside Lionel Messi and Cristian Tello.

Xavi Hernandez misses out on a start, having been rested after international exertions, so Sergio Busquets moves into central midfield, and Alex Song replaces him at centre-back.

For Deportivo, Alex Bergantinos and Abel Aguilar start at the base of the midfield, as Riki is supported by Bruno Gama, Pizzi and Juan Carlos Valeron.

Deportivo: Aranzubia; Laure, Marchena, Ze Castro, Ayoze; Bergantinos, Aguilar; Gama, Valeron, Pizzi; Riki.

Barcelona: Valdes; Montoya, Song, Mascherano, Alba; Fabregas, Busquets, Iniesta; Tello, Messi, Villa.
