Ramos: We could have won by more

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has admitted that his side could have claimed a bigger victory against Celta Vigo.

Goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo were enough for Los Blancos, but the Spain international believes it should have been more.

“If we'd have had more luck, the result would have been better,” he told a Press conference after the game. “We must forget about it though, because we have already done our job.”

He also commented on the make-shift defence the team started with at Santiago Bernabeu, as well as the fight to retain their La Liga crown.

“People may be surprised, but injuries have made us adapt,” he said. “Michael Essien and I have played at a high level for a long time, and we are very confident at full-back.

“Confidence is huge in the camp. The League is very long, and anything can still happen. Nobody can mathematically win the title right now.”
