Alfaro anticipating Sevilla

Mallorca man Alejandro Alfaro is anticipating a return to Sevilla in Week 8 and has dismissed fears over his side’s recent two defeats.

After losses to Getafe and Granada, Joaquin Caparros’ side travel to Andalucia next weekend for a test that Sevilla-born Alfaro is eagerly awaiting.

“It will be a special game for me. I owe a lot to Sevilla, I was born there and I grew up there,” reflected the striker to the Press today, before turning his attention to his side’s declining form of late.

“We are neither as bad or as good as we were before. We had a run and the last two games have had some bad luck, but you have to look at the 11 points, we are on the up and the target is survival still.

“The international break has come in handy for us, but we are looking forward to the match, after these two defeats.”
