Valladolid eye Malmo ace

Reports in Sweden claim Real Valladolid have reached agreement with Malmo for striker Daniel Larsson.

El Pucela boss Miroslav Djukic has only 19 professionals in his squad and has been working hard to reinforce it for the second half of the La Liga season.

However, Valladolid President and owner Carlos Suarez did not want to comment on the speculation, telling a Press conference that nothing had officially been confirmed just yet.

“When we verify things is when the deal will have been done. When we present him is when he has joined Valladolid,” he told assembled reporters.

“The priority is that we bring in good players and try not to get it wrong. Thereafter, if they are versatile then so much the better.

“If they can play on the wing as well as at centre-forward that would be good, but if they can play on both wings than that better still.

“There are several players who satisfy that profile, but they also need to score goals besides.

“We want someone who can score as many as possible to help Javi [Guerra], Manucho and Alberto [Bueno],” he added.

Larsson, 25, joined Malmo three years ago from BK Hacken and has scored 30 goals in 109 League appearances.
