Busquets eyes Alonso danger

Sergio Busquets has gone player by player through the proposed Real Madrid team to face Barcelona on Sunday and picks Xabi Alonso as the key man.

The midfielder went through the likely XI men he will face in an interview with Cuatro today and suggested that his international midfield teammate Alonso was the pivot that the rest of the Blancos hinged upon.

Iker Casillas: “He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He is at a high level and is a great teammate.”

Sergio Ramos: He has great qualities, he physically very fit. And also is a great teammate.”

Alvaro Arbeloa: “He plays every game and every time is more pronounced in attack.”

Marcelo: “He works well with Cristiano and is very fast and dangerous down the wing.”

Xabi Alonso: “He is the leader of this team. Fundamental. His passes from the back are very dangerous and we must try to cover him.”

Mesut Ozil: “He is very good, with great quality and a great final pass.”

Karim Benzema: “He has a lot of quality in addition to the goals. He is a striker that can receive and create in play.”
