Karim Benzema admits that Real Madrid know exactly what to expect from Ajax this week, having played them several times in recent years.
Los Blancos are in Amsterdam preparing for their second Group D game of the 2012-13 Champions League and Benzema admits that there is a familiar feeling to facing the Dutch champions.
Real have faced Ajax at the same stage of the competition in the previous two editions of the tournament.
“Every year the team changes, but the mentality does not, it is the same,” Frenchman Benzema reflected.
“We know that it will be difficult because everyone wants to beat Real Madrid. It always happens, we must prepare well for the game and show our true level.
“We know Ajax, we have played them a lot in recent years. It will not be easy, because every game is difficult, but we must win this very important meeting.”
