Deportivo La Coruna striker Riki has fractured his nose – but will be able to continue playing with a protective mask.
The veteran forward suffered the injury in a collision with Granada defender Diego Mainz on Sunday. The original diagnosis was that his nose was merely bruised, but AS report that further tests have indicated a fracture.
The medical staff at the Galician club are now working on resourcing the correct protective gear so that Riki can feature for Jose Luis Oltra's side in the weekend clash with Sevilla.
