Osasuna midfielder Anthony Annan has returned to training after representing Ghana in their African Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.

The 26-year-old scored as the Black Stars ran out 2-0 winners last Saturday, and has returned to Pamplona just two days before his new club's La Liga match with Real Mallorca.

Former Schalke star Annan could feature if deemed fit, but two players who are expected to be out are captain Patxi Punal and centre back Alejandro Arribas, both of whom are still injured.

Argentine striker Emiliano Armenteros though, is tipped to return. He arrived from Sevilla in the summer, and could make his debut for Jose Luis Mendilibar's side after recovering from a groin strain.
