Barcelona will be without left-back Jordi Alba for the visit to Getafe on Saturday night, reports Cadena Ser.
The former Valencia man has been struck down with flu and was eventually ruled out of Tito Vilanova’s plans for the Coliseum Alfonso Perez after failing to shake it off in time.
The so-called ‘FIFA virus’ has already claimed Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez, although the Chilean did do some light exercises in training on Friday morning after reporting back from international duty with a thigh injury.
Sanchez is expected back for the Champions League game with Spartak Moscow next week while Iniesta, who has a similar injury, will not be available until the following week.
