Osasuna midfielder Masoud Shojaei has returned to training and could feature for Los Rojillos against Real Mallorca on Sunday.
Shojaei missed the entire 2011/12 campaign through injury, and has yet to make an appearance for the club this season due to lack of match fitness.
But the Iranian winger played in his country's 0-0 friendly draw with Jordan last week, before starting in their 1-0 loss to Lebanon on Tuesday.
Despite travelling back from Beirut, the 28-year-old is reported by AS to have taken part in training this morning, and could be called-up for Los Rojillos' weekend fixture against Mallorca.
Jose Luis Mendilibar's side are certainly in need of a boost, sitting bottom of La Liga having lost all three games so far, conceding six and scoring only one.
